My fiance has a problem with her 2001 Accent when shifting from 1st to 2nd or downshifting into either 1st or second. The gears grind, and don't want to engage until engine has reached idle rpm. My question is: Could this be a Transmission Synchro problem or something else?? I would appreciate any advice. BTW, her car has approx. 74k miles on it.
