Ok, here's the thing... I own a 2000 Elantra and last night my Check Engine Light came on!! I stopped the car and my oil cap had come off, so I bought a new one today thinking that was the problem... I put on the new cap, drove the car a bit and the light stays on!! Help!!!!!!!!!!

go to the dealer ship so that they can put it off with the high scan

Oil cap will not cause CEL light on. Have vehicle diagnosed not light turned off.
