spark plug wear.. - 7/6/2006 3:16:08 AM    kuyi84   Posts: 17 Joined: 3/14/2006 Status: offline I have a situation with my spark plugs: I've been using the NGK iridiums for the past few oil changes (7k-9k miles), and already the plugs seem to be getting carbon build-up... They have a brown coating on them, though the ground and center electrode seem to have no other signs of wear. My question is: should this be occuring already?? Would this affect gas mileage? -My gas mileage has been poorer than normal as well. Any info would be great.. Thanks Post #: 1
