6/14/06 This is a revision to an earlier post. "00 Elantra sedan, 36,000. I have found out the Elantra has a faulty fuel tank pressure sender. This part is located near the outside of the gas tank. I cannot pump gas becasuse the fuel pressure sender is telling the gas pump I have a full tank and keeps shutting down the pump. The charcoal cannister is also involved. Apparently the cannister has raw liquid gasoline in it.Somehow the fuel pressure sender and the cannister work together. The cannister is located in the left front wheel well behind the inner fender . So the presure sender and the cannister will both have to be replaced to the tune of $350.00. Has anyone had this experience before? thanks for your reply, Bob Soderlund
