I have a "domestic" 95 elantra that has a 1.5L (82HP) instead of the "export" 1.6L or 1.8L. It's a real dog and I want more HP. Here's my dilema: have a custom turbo w/intercooler installed or drop in a 2.0L or 2.4L (both about 138HP). They will both cost me about the same ($1800-$2000) and get me up to about 138HP (roughly). I'm afraid of the turbo tearing up that little 1.5L. If I had the money I would drop in the 2.4L aalong with a turbo and intercooler. I have money to do only one. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
