so my check engine light started flashing at me the other day b/c injector #6 wasn't getting the proper power. Now the #6 injector wire happends to be the same wire that I tapped off of to get my remote starter working......hyundai techs told me that the wire on my remote starter for the tachometer is not supposed to be going to an injector wire for the tach wire - rather there is some other type of module that needs to go through the ECU. anyone have an experience with this?

www.designtech-intl.com lists "white or white/black near the Powertrain Control Module or can go to any fuel injector and use the wire that is not black or orange"...............it also says that "the tach wire is pin 61 on the 3.3L"

I think that my injector wire #6 may have been in contact with another wire causing it to short out but i'm a little iffy about reconnecting it to the injector wire.....

if anyone has some knowledge to use the ECU instead please shed some knowledge this way. thanks.
