ORIGINAL: scott hey, today i put in the 1.8L cam and everything went perfect. But i do have to say that i feal a slower acceleration. I did not have time to reset my ecu(I will) and i need oil change. I am curious to your reaction. If i get a 1.8 Ecu will it work better with the cam, or what ? The sound with the cai AND CAM is GREAT. Sorry I didn't see this sooner mang, I'm not getting email notifications anymore for some reason. Cheap ass forums. LOL Anyways, you'll need to reset your ECU or just give it a week or 2 for it to adjust on it's own. The 1.8L ECU will definately work better with the cam. And I agree, the CAI sounds GREAT doesn't it? quote:

the cam is getting better, it brought my shifting to about 6200 rpms and i still have power to shift with. I am not sure if i am going to get ecu but who knows. I think i am almost happy with my motor but not to happy with the suspension. I have front and rear strut bars. I want to change the sus but I am not sure of that either. Any suggestions of either of these things. I will look you up on halo My name is probaler.
