well, if the crank sensor fails, then the cam sensor will take over. If this happen, then the engine power is reduced, and the car feels like you are running out of gas. I have replaced the one on my Y2K Sonata V6, that is why I know how it feels. P0740 is a tranny code, complaining about a lock-up converter problem (engine stalling upruptly) have the tranny flued replaced, and the oil cooler reverse flushed. That may fixes this stalling problem. Also, check the airflow sensor connector, and harness. Make sure, that the harness has slack, so that there is no tug-and-pull on the connector as the engine moves fore and back. P0335 is a crank sensor code. Most likely need replacing. Also, have the cam sensor connector checked for secure and clean contact. duke
