Got a 1.6 coupe, think its great. However it does seem to have over run ie when dipping the clutch to change gear the revs seem to hold before dropping slightly later even though the accelarator has been lifted.Have also noticed that sometimes when slowing down and depressing the clutch the revs seem to slightly increase momentarily.Anyone got similar problems or know the cause ?????

Just got car back from its first service.Apparently the cause is a faulty throttle position sensor, which is now on order. Is mine the only car to have this problem??

Hi again Did the garage solve your problem.I thought that it had solved mine but have since been experiencing the same problem.Mine seems to be holding the revs when I change gear, almost as if it were on choke.Sometimes when I accelarate hard, the engine seems to find a flat spot and does not accelarate smoothly ?
