1970 Chevelle.....I just wish it was the 454 SS LS6. Someday though.

The Chevelle is one of my all time favorites. That LS6 is a hot runner, it is even better if you bore it out to a 502. My favorite chevelle is probably the 69, but I like the turn signal covers and closed headlights of the 1970. Are you running the 396?

11s..nice! my car has turned in a best of mid 12s, but now that we did some work to get it running better, and now we cant get traction...the 60s are in the 17.8-1.85 range...about a tenth from before...time for slicks!

NA, 340ci, 40 over, running low compression pistons (it was all i could afford when the motor went together 10 years ago)..i ran those numbers with DOTs, mufflers, and running on 87 octane.

Isn't it odd how fickle us car guys are? We get a nice base, build the hell out of it, have big dreams for it, and as it gets real good we get bored and get a new toy.

well, one of the problems with my older toy, is that PA is so tough on emissions...it runs cleaner than my truck, but because my truck has a cat, and my car doesnt, my car is illegal....
