I'm a PA man myself, but luckily for me I live in Kiski township and do not have emissions.

Classic passenger car here. '64 Dodge 440 4 door 50th anniversary edition with a 318wb and pushbutton trans. BTW I started taking the dash apart the other day patrick and your wife should have the older pics I have of the car too.

Patrick -> RE: Classic Cars (1/3/2006 12:37:26 PM)

what?

terkman -> RE: Classic Cars (3/23/2006 4:51:48 PM)

I have a '66 Pontiac 2+2 convertible. 421 four-barrel, 4-speed. Great car but too bad it has been in upstate NY all of its life. Battling the rust is a constant problem.

Patrick -> RE: Classic Cars (3/28/2006 1:13:37 PM)

any pictures?

poacher -> RE: Classic Cars (3/29/2006 5:06:24 PM)

Sorry, I haven't checked this post lately. I've been too busy adding parts to my Accent. Here are a couple of pix. I have had the car almost two years now and STILL don't have one with the top down...DUH!

BTW, that's my Accent nuzzling up behind the Pontiac. What you can't see in this picture is the crunched hood on the Accent. Gotta get that replaced one of these days...

Hey mydartswinger- how ya doin'?

I used to have a yellow 1972 Dart Swinger coupe with a 318 and a three-speed on the floor, but it was sold a while back. I wish I still had it.

I kind if think the current Elantra fills the same nitch as the old Dart Swinger- a personal-sized car with decent, if not breathtaking, performance, that can be pressed into service as a family car, especially a family with young children.

wow..the 66 looks great!
