my 2002 Accent (23,000K on the meter) is very noisy lately......

1,2 Gears are have a funny hum.... & when it goes beyond 3000RPM the noise is very high....

i have replaced the hub racers, changed the tyres to bridgstone.... the tyre change made the high speed noise less...
but the 3000RPM plus & 1,2 gears are very noisy...

what can it be ???..

engine mounts were checked..... & adjusted cos they were a bit off

A ball joint may also be worn. Another thought would be to check the transmission mount. Tranny mounts aren't generally given much thought and have a tendancy to cure very odd problems.
