Hi there, My centre and right brake lights are not working. I checked bulbs - seams to be ok; I also checked fuse and relay but because left one is working - they are fine. The only thing could be some connections are out.... I looked for similar posts and found one where a guy with Elantra had similar problem. Somebody answered that could be a ground problem and centre and rear left (in case of Elantra) lights are sharing the same conduit.... Now, I have accent and, if it's similar problem - where I would check for grounding issue? where these wires are grounded? Thanks... Majki

The lights do share the same circuit. It might be wise to replace the bulbs that do not work when the brake is pressed. Best yet, switch the bulbs from side to side just to test things out. I know with nissan cars the tail lights take a dual filament bulb. If a single filament bulb was installed it would bridge the two contacts together and turn on the brake lights while driving! Perhaps the same was done with your car and the lights just don't work. Let us know how it works out.
