I have a 1998 Elantra sedan.

The red warning light that comes on when you raise the Brake is always on when I am driving. The brake is down and I do not understand why this light is activated. I would deeply appreciate any answers.

Thank you

Danny...

Assuming your back wheels are not getting hot when driving, it is probably the switch at fault, which is nothing to worry about, but is annoying.

You need to check you brake fluid level, if is low this will happen. The reason it is flashing when you are driving means that is might be actually low so whenever the fluid moves around it activates the sensor in the resevoir.
