i need help, cuase every time i turn the headlights and  the a/c the car starts to stall, at night  icant  use the a/c cause of that problem,
can any body help, its a 1995 accent.

Have you checked the battery to see if the connections are clean or that it is charged up?If not then possibly the alternator isnt regulating the power from the battery properly to the headlights or A/C system.

its friggin winter! turn the a/c off.  damn you people and your warm weather.  I'm happy it got hot out today, its almost 20 degrees out side.

Check the altanator belt.

Further if you are only going very short distances this may drain battery.

Try a highway drive to charge up battery.

Hope you get the point.

also with a volt meter u could check how much the battery is putting out when car on/off...i dunno how to check altanator but some places will check it for you

Well if the car will start, I dont think it is a batter issue. The battery is only used to start the alternator. So after the car is running, when it stalls it is either your alernator going bad, or it is your belt that is too loose. I would check that before I even chack a batter issue.

I had a bad battery in my Elantra and it made it so the car stalled when in idle.  New battery = no more problem.
