So what have people paid for their 30,000 mile service? I read in one of the postings $400 (and he/she seemed to think that was high), and was ready for that but I was quoted $550.00 It seems steep considering most of the service is visual inspection. Do you think this is a reasonable and fair price. The oil was just changed, so I'm mostly concerned about Coolant Change and Transmission flush. I'm thinking about just having them do these things for now. Any thoughts, what other services do you think are critical at this time. What is a reasonable charge for these two services? What about this "induction service" they penciled in to the Hyundai pre-printed 30K service form. What is it? Is it necessary or just upsell? Car runs great, couldn't be happier. I really don't wanna sound like a cheapskate, but right now (I'll spare you the details) $550 is alot of money to me. Thanks for everyones help and comments as I get settled in to my new ride.

Woooo weeeee that is too much!! When I had my 30k, I just told them to do the fluid changes. I skipped having them do the visual inspections, and replaced the air filter myself. I got out of there for about $250. Maybe less. I don't remember the exact number. But it was significantly less than what I was quoted for the full service. FWIW, my original quote was no where near $550.......
