spf150 -> Cyl 3 misfire, need help (2/11/2007 1:43:29 PM)

Hi all, I have a 1999 Sonata with the 4cyl DOHC 16V and the 5spd gear-box. Anyways just today I started getting a misfire followed by a check engine light. So what's the likely suspect here? Intake runner control, fuel injector, valve(s) spark plug/wire? I thought plug or wire at first so I popped the hood and I just CAN'T find the plugs or wires anywhere. I popped the cover off of the fuel injector bank thinking that they'd be in there but no dice.
I read somewhere that the plugs& wires are up underneath the valve cover or the intake manifold, forgot which one, so is that where I should look? I hate to come off like a novice to cars but I've really only worked on American cars and this is the newest thing I've yet to work on.
