Is it possible to put a mid 90's eclipse/talon turbo 2.0 in a 2000 tiburon? I plan on rebuilding it and making my tib a fast ass SOB. If so what type of engine mount mods would i need to do?

That sounds like an electrical nightmare. You'd need the whole wiring harness, and most likely a donor car so the tranny, axles, and front suspension would bolt up. Then you'd have to weld custom mounts. Bottom line? Its going to be a biaaaaaaaaaaatch.

Oh yeah, and it would never pass inspection. Most states require, in an engine swap, and engine that is the same model year as the car or newer. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Anything is possible with enough money my man. We've discussed these swaps several times at www.rdtiburon.com

Why would you want to swap it? Just turbo the hell out of your current Beta mang, they can take the abuse.
