There is a VSS on your car. The connections to it can be access in a few places, probably the most accessible is the engine compartment fuse box, at Connector EC03, Pin 12. Before doing anything, DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY. The VSS is on the transmission. It's kind of buried, but the signal wire comes up to Connector EC03 at Pin 12. I'm including the schematic for the VSS, [image]local://upfiles/1133/8197A0352C2B4F63B270A57E592B26D7.jpg[/image] a photo showing where EC03 is on the fuse box (see label at lower left- EC03(22P)), [image]local://upfiles/1133/AFFBDE084F52419FBFE7E479656DC717.jpg[/image] and a pinout map of the connector. [image]local://upfiles/1133/F59788B7882744A69EE97AE3CB33F3AB.jpg[/image] The wire changes color from green to red at the connector, and I'm not 100% sure which will be visible on the connector. You should be able to figure out which pin is Pin 1 because 3, 4, & 5 are not used (as indicated by the *). So look for the three empty pins, count back to Pin 1 from there, and Pin 12 should be in the next row over from it..... Like I said, Pin 12 should be a red or green wire. Anway, that's the wire to tap into.
