Paint is peeling on Hood of 2002 Elantra

I bought my elantra used and the paint is peeling on the hood. It appears to have just started and is peeling quickly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can stop it from peeling further? or... do you know if there is a hidden warranty regarding paint peeling. My car has 77 000 km. Please help

Since you mention km I assume you're not in the US, but I know on the American warranty, paint is one item that is an exception to the 5 year, 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty; I think it's only 3 years, 36,000 miles.  So I don't think there is any warranty recourse.  I've heard of paint chipping but not peeling on Elantras.  I wonder if maybe your car was previouly in an accident and the problem is a bad paint job?
