Hi,

I am interesting in putting a Elantra engine into my 2000 Accent with Auto Transmission. But I don't wanna sacrifice the air-conditioning. Is it easier to swap a Elantra's than a Triburon's?
What kind and what year of Elantra engine should I putting in and is it required to have a auto transmission engine or also have to replace to a Elantra transmission?

i dont know alot about swapping engines into this car, but i did read somewhere on here that the tiburon swap is relatively common, and im pretty sure it said you could keep the old tranny too... if you havent already bought the elantra engine, you might want to look into the tiburon swap.

maybe start looking around for swap writeups. try googling accent tiburon swap, or accent elantra swap. you know things like that.
