just be careful when eliminating a cat when installing headers. unless you have a two chamber or a very high quality muffler, the sound you get could be more of an anoyance then anything. i put headers on my 01, grantit its a 4 banger, but i had to eliminate a cat(the manifold and cat were one piece), so all i had was one cat and a straight threw muffler. sounded like an angry bumble bee, lol, but then put a secondary muffler/resinator before the cat and it took car of it. now this may not apply to the v6 since they have dual mufflers, but just a heads up. you'll love the power you gain, but getting there can be a headache.
