My 2005 Sonata, V-6, automatic, seems to be running thru headlights and fog lights like they are on sale.... I've replace all of them at least once in the last 3 months.   It only has 31k on it for miles.  My Dads, same car only has 21k on it but he has not had the problem.  Any of you aware of this in other Sonatas or the cure?    Is there a voltage regulator or something along those lines?   It's got
me stumped.
Thanks in advance.             Swampy and Son

Take it to the dealer and see if there are any TSBs against the electrical system.  I know on slightly older Elantras there was an alternator problem and they replaced the whole alternator to fix it.  One symptom was going through bulbs too quickly.

i had the same problem with my 02.  The dealer said they found a cable being pinched near the steering column.  since then, the lights have been reliable.
