I had noticed some power lost over last couple days, but today i stopped at a red light and had to give a lot of gas pedal to make my elantra go.I went up a grade & felt it losing power. Got home and lost my tranny engagement in front of house.(thank god). long story short it starts no problem, but tranny wont engage. tranny fluild brownish but at right level. when i shift cant fell tranny at all but there is some change in rpm when in N. With key in on position and engine off can here what sounds like something electronic is working or trying to work in tranny while in R D 2 3 1. disconnect battery for 1/2 hour still nothing. please help great little car. Replaced screen and gasket couple months ago and was working just fine. I did a crub on sheet of black ice and damaged passenger front lower control arm and stut recently and thats when i started to feel my slight power losses. But how could that be related when its was damaged on passenger front?
