I recently purchased a 2007 hyundai accent, and it is the worst car  I have ever owned.  We have had nothing but problems.  When the car is first started the tac jumps around like crazy, the engine light comes on , it has a rought idle and uses nearly a half a tank of gas to go 20miles.  We have had it in the shop once a month since we have owned it.  We have fought with hyundai to get a different one and finally they trades us and we have had the new one for 5 days and already the engine light has come on.  If anyone else has experienced these problems please let me know.  I will never buy a Hyundai again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Very sorry to see your having problems with your car.
Call Hyundai direct and then let them set it up with another dealer to see what is the matter.

I have close to 20,000miles on mine and not a single problem. I have owned 6 Hyundais and in 7 years have had no problems to speak of. I think the dealership you are dealing with is dicking you around. They must be doing something to those cars before people buy them. I can see one lemon in the bunch but not two in a row. Call Hyundai and report them.

I talked with my Hyundai store manager and he told me flat out for you to call up Hyundai America...
