Greetings all,

Last week I bought a 2007 Accent GLS 5-speed; so far it's been great and it will be interesting to see what kind of mileage I get.  Before, I had been driving an older VW diesel Rabbit which gave me about 34 mpg in the city and over 50 on the highway.  I sold it back to the original owner in hopes of finding a used TDI Jetta or Golf.  Well, prices on even used TDI's are high and I was concerned about getting something that might have unknown problems.  So, for less than the price of a used TDI, I get a new car with a warranty.

Anyway, one question: when you turn the key to the "on" position (without starting the engine) all my indicator lights come on except the low-fuel light.  Is the low-fuel light supposed to come on in that situation, just to indicate (like the others) that the light is functional?

Thanks in advance.

A.

All lights should light up momentarily.
