I just purchased a 2007 Sonata 2.4l 4 banger. I was told that it has an interference engine with a timing belt. Is this true? The sales person had to check with several people before she could give me the answer. She finally had to contact another Hyundai dealer to get the answer. Boy, do their sales people need product training!

Amen to that. Not long ago we were looking at the 2007 Accent. The salesman did not know the vehicle at all. (See my posts under the thread titled "New to hyundai with questions")
