Well here's the update on the seat rattle, it's gone, but so is the car. I didn't tell you that the dealer was suppose to also fix a 4" scratch on the front lower bumper cover that happened right before I took delivery of the car. The porter scratched it while driving it to fill it up with gas. I took delivery anyway with the understanding they would make the bumper like new whatever it takes. Well 3 tries to repaint the bumper cover was enough for me, I said replace the bumper or replace the car. I drove out today with an 07 Platinum Edition for the balance forward of my car and some cash. So no more seat clicks and I wound up with an awesome car. The totally black leather interior is incredible, and I really like all the extra toys like the sunroof and climate control.

Yeah you really have to hold the delaer and or salesmen to their word when they say they'll do something...

I had our dealer come pick up the car for the detail and gave them a note of what they need to fix..

They didn't fill it with gas and I wasn't about to let them get out of that one...they also did a poor job at buffing out the scratches, but I'm going to use turtlewax black wax to fix that... Dealers suck people..we all know that..they aren't your good buddy...but try and act like it.

I've had good luck with Meguiar's Scratch-X to get scratches out.  If you use it, rub it very hard and vigorously.  The heat generated helps smooth out the scratches in the clearcoat.  It does a good job without removing material.
