i haven't even picked it up yet.
don't even have the owner's manual yet.

my question is about breaking in the new engine.

what is recommended and what should i definately not do?

I've always heard it's best to break it in the same way you plan on regular driving it so it gets used to your driving style.

The only difference with that is that you're not supposed to keep it at freeway speeds for extended periods for the first 500 miles (I think).  It's better to vary the RPMs during breakin.

thanks,

i figured it would pretty straight forward but after years of driving leases, company vehicles or most recently a used car i thought i should ask.

is it wednesday night yet?
