need to replace starter on 94 elantra; where is it located? is there any site that has engine diagrams to show its location?

Try Autozone.com under their repair Info section.

It will be located on the side of the engine, where it meets up with the transmission. I think that one is located on the back of the engine, might be easier to get to from underneath. The starter will actually connect up to the flywheel, which is uses to turn the motor. Look around near the transmisson. Take a look at the starter, and see what it looks like, then look at your vehicle and try to see where it is... Get a haynes manual, or even a chilton manual. Don't forget to disconnect the Negative battery cable... if you don't... you will probalby see sparks... lol
