ORIGINAL: NovaResource My question is why are you replacing the fuel filter? The original doesn't need replacement until 100K miles. Yes, the 2003-up GK Tib has an in-tank filter. You need to remove the lower portion of the rear seat, remove the access pannel to the tank and remove the pump puckup to get to the filter. May need be required by Hyundai, but that does not mean its nto a good idea to replace it sooner. Mine Tib has 60k and I spent a weekend replacing a ton of parts it may not have need til 100k (f/f, plugs/wires, timing belt and tensioner/idler *due at 60k*, upper and lower intake gaskets). 100,000 miles is to long to wait for proper maintainence and easily could cause more harm than help.
