ORIGINAL: NYYANKEE forgot to mention this in my original post -removed 2 Philip head csrews -removed axle nut -applied oil to rotor where it meets axle -cut a 2 X 4 the diameter of the rotor and allowed it to bottom against 2 lug nuts....with a 2 jaw hub puller tried to force it off while tapping rotor with a hammer .....it did not budge -only tried one side due to the difficulty I encountered First, you do not need to remove the axle nut. That does not hold the rotor on. Second, if these are the original rotors (or have been on a few years), it is probably rusted in place. The rears in my 2004 Tib were and I had to beat the crap out of them to get them off. Have a helper turn the rotor slowly while you beat the rotor off from behind. And a simple hammer probably won't be enough, you will need a small, 5-lbs sledge.
