This is my 1.3 Accent (its the only engine that was avaiable in 98 here in Portugal) with its custom made intake, in his Summer and Winter version. On the summer i use the longer tube but now i had to change it because it was to exposed and it could get wet.

My sugesstion would be to make your own. Instead of looking for longer pipe to lead to the ground with all of the dirt and hazards. SHorten the pipe keep it up in the air and safe. Run flexible tubing through the fender wells and lead them directly to the cone filter. Leave the stock box and intake. So as to take in more cool flowin air. You won't have to worry about the rain or mud and you get the same cold air as a long ground dragger.
