Battery cross reference.

obex26 -> Battery cross reference. (7/9/2005 6:23:47 PM)

Car: 02 Accent

Issue: Dead Battery. The battery is the original. I am currently trying to see if it will hold a charge. If not I have to go buy a new one. Problem is Stealership wants 75.00 And Vatozone also wants 75.00 for it. Is there any other cross refernce or codes or part numbers that I can look into to find a battery that is cheaper. I am on a bit of a budget right now. $$ is tight so any help would be appreciated. I have checked with pepeys, checker, wally world, car quest, costco and samys club. They don't carry it according to their books. I have from personal experience done cross reference of parts. Unfortunately my specialty is 80's model toyota trucks and cars. I have learned that I can interchange parts from a celica to a toyota truck so there has to be something I can cross compare to. These is some numbers I have been given to search for but I wouldn't know what to cross compare to.

Group: 47
Fitment code: 12
Cranking amps 590 and 735 - 32 degrees.

Thanks for the help.

Here add this to your FAQ for a cross reference. Battery replacement for Hyundai accents with either the 1.5 or 1.6 model engine.

I went to wally world. Their brand of battery I think it is ever start. The part number is DT-3S It works. It secured and is about 35 dollars cheaper then what Hyundai and vatozone want.
