I bought an '07, Sky Blue Hyundai Tiburon GT Limited today!!! The dealership didn't have the Sky Blue in-house, so they let me drive off in a Quick Silver Tib until Monday when mine rolls in. Sweet!!
This is an odd experience for me seeing as how I've never owned an import. But after my Vette's ECM went south and the very next day, the engine locked up in my Z24 droptop Cav. (my work car), I needed something to drive and didn't want an econobox. I seriously looked at the Pontiac Soltice, the Jeep FJ Cruiser, the Toyota Camry Solara convertible and so others, but decided on the Tiburon--mainly because of price, low financing rates and it's different. EVERY other person I see on the road seems to be in a Maxima, Altima, some Honda or something.
In a span of about 6 hrs. after I left the dealership, I'd already had about 10-12 people asking me what kind of car is that!
I'm liking the car. It's the V6 with the auto Shiftronic tranny. I'd like a bit more horsepower coming from a V6, but I figure since there's no model offered for '08, by the time '09 comes around, the hp will be better and there'll be a convertible.
I'll probably have tons of questions in the near future too! So..., catch y'all later!!!

NGM is a south florida based shop that makes astounding bolt on superchargers for 2.7 V6 tiburons.
They recently signed a deal with Hyundai Canada, and Hyundai MODIS to produce factory warrantied s/c kits for the Tiburon.
Great shop, great parts, great people. Simple as that.
