USB Format
 

Hello,

I have read through several posts indicating the file type, file size format size etc etc etc... and they are for the most part conflicting.

I have a problem, I have a 16GB memory card, 4 of them in fact. NONE of them will read all of my 612 song playlist. The car( a 2009 Elantra Touring ) will only pick up 100 songs give or take on the usb sticks.

I would like to find an official answer for the following:
Maximum Drive Size Supported?
Supported Drive Format?
Supported File Types?
Where does the elantra get the song numbers?
Are there any file type limitations? ie. Flack mp3 tags break it.. .or any other known bugs?

Glad to help. yes, usually the maximum Drive Size is 32GB, Drive format Fat32, it support music like mp3 which is recommened. When your card is connected, usually the In-dash stereo system will recognize it and you can follow the screen instruction to play the files.

By the way, if you want to have high sound quality or play much more formats of files and get other features, you can upgrade the original stereo system to an aftermarket system too. Hope this is helpful to you.

Per the above the max is 64gb is this why my 128gb is not working?
