I have a 2013 Elantra with the 1.8L nu engine. 2.0 is similar. I am going to do a full rebuild on the engine with a new oil pump. Besides using oil and break-in lube on specific locations, is it possible or necessary to prelube the oiling system before first startup? Thanks

 

If you can manage to get oil up into everything before actually starting the engine, by all means , consider it.
