'08 and '11 Accent antifreeze change info needed please.

This will be the first antifreeze change on the '08 and, most likely on the '11 also. Not positive about the '11 'cause we bought it used.

Any gotcha's I need to know about?

Is there a block drain, or will the entire system empty satisfactorily through the rad drain?

Thanks all!

What you might do is, from the owner's manual, get the cooling system capacity of each vehicle.
On the anti-freeze container it should list the degree of freeze protection obtained when the total capacity of the cooling system has so many quarts of anti-freeze mixed with water to equal the total .

For example a cooling system capacity of 15 quarts will provide freeze protection of -20 degrees when 4 quarts of straight undiluted anti-freeze are mixed with water in the system. You just drain as much of the old coolant out as will come out , close the drain, add the required quarts of anti-freeze then fill the rest of the system .with water to the full level. As the engine is run, it will mix the solutions and should provide the degree of freeze protection as stated on the anti-freeze container.
