2002 accent front brake piston
I've got the pads and I'm read to start. I'm wondering about the piston. I've got a wrench to open the bleed bolt, but how much force will it take to push the piton back. Also how much fluid is going to come out.

Thanks for replying.
Can it be pushed back with just regular arm and hand, or do I need to grab the pin on the end of the clamp with channel locks, to turn it. I,ve also heard about taking the cap of the brake fluid resevoir does this help. I down loaded instructions from Emitchell and it mentioned the valve. Thanks Bill |

Hi
The c clamp will work with hand pressure and taking the cap off the resavoir keeps the pressure from building up. I recommend placing a rag under the resavoir to catch any spillage. |

mind you, if you have ever had a leak in the brake resevoir, you will want to check it once everything is in place.

RE: 2002 accent front brake piston
have seen abd resevoirs twice..once was ro a kid leaning on it while working on it, and bent soemthing...the other had been filled with motor oil instead of brake fluid, and it ruined the whole system, or mighty near the whole system

I just wanted to thank everyone who replied. It worked like a charm. Now if I could just get the other wheel off.
