2005 Tucson TCS off, no 4 wd, but abs works

Dear forum members!

I am totally new here. My beloved 2005 2.0 crdi manual 5 Tucson seems to have a unsolvable bug with the traction control system and the 4 wheel drive. My abs is working fine (no abs lights), but the tcs off light is on, and i cant turn on the 4wd switch. The main problem is that through the obd the scanner is not able to communicate with abs computer, so there is no fault code. My mechanic changed the abs computer, and the engine control device, but the tester still cant communicate, and the tcs is still off. The cable is tested too.

Does anybody have any experience with this type of bug? I would be really grateful for any help, because it seems like the official Hyundai service station is clueless...

Do you know if your mechanic checked ALL the fuses?
We at least have to start there.

Thx for the answer, yes that was the first
thing we checked.

Many times when there is a failure to communicate, power and grounds are next on the list to check.

I'm afraid there is a much more complex problem, than fuses, grounds or power. We excluded the abs computer, the line from diagnose connector to engine control device and the ecd itself. The scanner communicates with ecd - no fault codes, but still no line for abs electronics. I was wondering, that maybe the line goes through the differential electronic module. Is there any control device for the 4x4 drive below, wich can be causing this type of problem? I heard some rumors about Mitsubishi and Volvo awd failures wich were wery similar...
