2005 XG350 trouble code 1112
Check engine light came on suddenly and car seemed to lack power. Turned car off and restarted, seemed to run fine when I drove it to the shop with a solid check engine light. Shop scanned and found code 1112, cleaned throttle body, did induction service, turned off check engine light. A week later same problem. Turned car off then on (seemed to reset computer)and took to shop who turned off light. Car ran good for week and a half until my battery went dead in driveway. Jumped car, replaced battery, have solid check engine light. Restarting car does not want to fix problem (restart was resetting computer). Any help is appreciated, Do the electronic throttle bodys go bad at 77K?
I took it back to the shop, cleared the codes and car now runs fine as it usually does for about 2 weeks before the code is set again and it runs in a limp mode. I am hoping the bad battery was causing the code which I may have had backwards maybe 2111. The tech today did not note the code but said it was a throttle position sensor code. Any more thoughts? Thanks for your info.
