2012 accent and Active ECO

I had mentioned in another post about the Active Eco system in my car.

According to the manual you depress the button and the light will turn on, on the dashboard to show it is running.

Now, this may be a perception thing, but, When I am cruizing down an area of flat highway, and I turn on the Active Eco, I reset the MPG meter, and the best Ive seen is 32-35 mpg on initial reset.

When I turn the Active Eco off (nothing displayed in the dash) and do the samething, the initial reset numbers I get are in the high 40's-to 50's.

Even over time, letting the system get more precise averaging, My car get better mileage without the ECO system turned on.

It almost seems like the wires are reversed. What is on, is actually off, etc...

Anyone else have this happen?

Im not sure if I want to bring it up to the dealership or not. If I can get the mileage I want with it off, why mess with a good thing?:D
