Airbag warning light & sensor replacement

Hi All,

I bought a 2005 Hyundai Tucson back in November. We had to take it back to the garage we bought it from due to an issue with the brakes, and when it returned the Airbag warning light was on.
Took it back to the garage and they sorted it - they said diagnostics reported it was the passenger side front impact sensor. They said it just needed cleaning.

Car was good for about 100 miles, then airbag light came on again. Dont want to take it back to that particular garage as they are useless.

Hyundai dealership has quoted £575!

My question is - can this front sensor be replaced DIY, and is it easy to get to?
I know airbag systems can be dangerous and easily triggered, so I assume you'd have to disconnect the battery for a while before attempting it? Or is it something just to leave to the prothesionals?

Any advice appreciated!

G
