Has any one ever experienced a time when your car would not shift out of first gear, or run over 1200 rpm, until you decided to shifr it manually? After that is worked fine? Please someone Help Me. I am a single parent of 2 teenagers, and I have to drive 60 miles each way to work, every day. I do not want to be scared to death. Please anyone

 

You didn't tell us what car, year, mileage, maintainence history, etc. The more you can tell us, the better.

 

2002 Santa Fe 2.7 v-6 auto. 105,000 miles Serviced every 3,000 miles. It only did this once, stored no codes, but has scared me to death

 

Change the transmission fluid again.
