Default Head lamps fading due to the sun

Hi all, quick question, I own a Hyundai Getz that is still under manufactures warranty. (1 year left)
I have noticed that both my headlamps are starting to fade and look burnt near the edge of the bonnet. This I would guess is due to the harsh sun down here in tropical Queensland. When I cantacted Hyundai Customer Care regarding this concern, they informed me that the condition is due to external influences caused by the suns rays and not a manufactures defect. They would not replace them under warranty.

I am puzzled by their responce because when I owned a Mazda 3 that had the same condition, Mazda replaced both headlamps under warranty with no hassle!

Anyone else had this issue with their Hyundai??

Many thanks

You got lucky with Mazda. That's very nice that they chose to replace them but that is not coverd under warranty. I don't know of any company that would replace them.
