Hissing sound heard when driving

Hey guys,

Im new here and its nice to be here.

Just got a question about my car, I drive a Hyundai accent 2004 model ( I live in Australia) btw and just quite recently began to hear this hissing sound when I drive. The sound comes and goes and and its really bugging me and it happens when I accelerate or just let the car go without stepping on the gas. Would appreciate if anyone can help me here. Cheers...

RE: Hissing sound heard when driving

hissing sounds are sometimes the result of leaks in your vaccum system. I only hesitate with this suggestion becuase vaccum system leaks usually affect acceleration/deceleration and engine performance.
