Making trim look like new

I just recently bought a white and grey with black trim 2005 Santa Fe. It came from Texas and now Nevada. It has spent at least 10+ years out in the sun. Much of the trim has faded from the black to an almost grey.

Can I use spray paint to make the once back trim black again? And what would be good on the rubber to make it shine again?

I am thinking of using the Rust-oleum for plastic on the plastic parts. Not sure what to use on the rubber... The wipers need to be sanded and then painted since most of the paint is chipped off, or chipping off.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

My mom had an old Explorer with some faded trim pieces, we used a product similar to Mothers Back to Black (MothersŪ Back-to-BlackŪ Trim & Plastic Restorer) and it worked great. I think that the spray paint approach works well for the metal and some of the plastic pieces. If you find that some of the parts cannot be saved we do offer some great deals on Santa Fe Parts here: Search 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Suv and VAN Parts
