Default Are new Hyundai's less prone to rust?

I have an '04 Sonata, which has been good to me over the years, and I was considering buying a 2012, but I was wondering if they are building them any better for those of us in the rust belt area of the Country.

I never realized how rusty mine was until recently. The entire underside is rusty, and I recently removed my rear bumper cover (replacing due to damage) and was going to fix the rust in the quarter panels, and discovered the brackets that hold the bumper cover to the body (under the quarter panel) had pretty much rusted away to nothing. All the rust I'm finding is a bit depressing, so did Hyundai wise up any and actually quit using unpainted metal?
