park no start
 

I recently purchased the car for the gas milage and small size. The transmission was replaced before i bought the car. On the third day of having the car it wont always start in "park" i have to put it in nuetral. Is the park switch internal or external, and is it fixable.

looks like a "RANGE SWITCH" problem. It is not servicable, and must be replaced as one unit.

BTW: it always helps to note the car & year.
