Accent Burns Out Diagnostic Tool
Hi there,
First, I have a dirty confession. I'm not a Hyundai owner myself; I drive a '96 TL and love it. But before I get tarred and feathered: My cousin, on the other hand, drives a '97 Hyundai Accent (2D hatch, manual) and loves it. Most of us do-it-yourselfers know that some issues are specific to particular model. Since I have never come across this particular problem, nor have ever owned a Hyundai, I figured I would bring it to the experts. And I appreciate your reading.
He says his accent sputters on idle and the engine light is on. Which could be caused by a few different things. The trouble is, Kost tried to hook up two separate diagnostic tools, both of which were fried by his vehicle.
Has anyone here encountered a similar issue, has guesses or recommendations?
Kind regards,
J.M.P.S.
